This blog would be incomplete without this guy, Eric Abidal. Over the past few years he has been turned into a subject of discussion for every sports journalist and as well as an internet phenomenon. Not only because of what he has achieved in his prolonged football career but as well as in his personal life which includes his battle against cancer and winning it over, like a true champion that he is,twice. Today he is a global icon, his image is an inspiration for many cancer patients and anyone else who intends to fight for something in this challenging game of life.
On may 30th, 2013 he had to leave F.C Barcelona.Not that he wanted to, but he had to. He wanted to continue as a player in F.C Barcelona and retire at the club.
